Agata has worked at my home for a number of years now and she and her team are extremely

Agata Cieslik is one of the most honest and honourable people I have ever known. I first

met her in early 2010 but I heard about her several years earlier from my friends Julienne

and Peter Matthews. It was Julienne who persuaded me to avail myself of Agata’s

cleaning services when I was preoccupied with nursing my husband who at the time was

dying of prostate cancer.

From the outset she struck me as capable, sensitive, discreet and eager to please –

indeed, almost too eager ……… to the point of self-sacrifice. Many was the time she would

work until nine at night, yet refuse the amount of money due to her at the end of the day.

This was the pattern that developed over many years, that Agata would work for X hours yet only accept payment for fewer hours than she had completed. I discussed this several times with Julienne. We could not understand what stopped her from accepting what she had earned. I can only conclude that she finds it awkward and embarrassing to take money . She aims to please her customers, is selfless in her commitment, and often works herself to the point of exhaustion. It is excessive and sometimes invites abuse from those who employ her.

Agata is the very opposite of grasping and calculating, making no attempt to claim even what is owed, let alone over-the-top remuneration for her work. I cannot be too emphatic about her honesty and integrity. I trust her to the point that for several years she has held the keys to my home – and I know I am not the only one.

Agata Cieslik has worked for me and my family for five years and she has been hardworking, honest and fair. She is reliable and I have never had any issues with invoicing or overcharging.

taking longer at times. When I suggested that she increased her price, she said no, but we
